BabyFirst Solano
BabyFirst Solano is a team of prenatal care agencies in Solano County dedicated to providing you with free or low cost prenatal care. With BabyFirst Solano, you will have someone to talk to about your pregnancy concerns with confidential support and no judgment. When you call our toll free line, we will discuss your questions and concerns with you and link you to the services you need to have a healthy pregnancy.
PEAK PEAK is a partnership of multiple community agencies that provide developmental screenings, parent and provider education, counseling, referrals and treatment for children ages birth to 5 years and their families in Solano County.  Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) Screenings are for children ages birth – 5 years who have multiple needs and/or at risk for a developmental delay but do not qualify for North Bay Regional Center or Special Ed. services through the school district. The IDT is an opportunity for you to learn more about your child’s development and to express any concerns or ask any questions about your child’s development.
Quality Child Care Solano Family & Children’s Services (SFCS) is the child care resource & referral agency for Solano County.  They provide a free list of child care providers to any family that is seeking child care, and they support individuals in the community to become licensed and offer quality child care.  They also help eligible low-income families and children at risk of abuse or neglect, pay for child care costs.  SFCS also administers the Child Care Food Program which reimburses child care providers for serving nutritious meals to the children in their care.
Family Strengthening Partnership and Parent Education Services
The Family Strengthening Partnership and Parent Education Services is a public-private partnership and a framework to deliver key services to high-risk families. The FSP uses an integrated approach which supports and improves protective factors for family members. FSP services include home visiting, intensive care management and information and referral. Other services linked to the FSP include substance abuse treatment and homeless prevention services.
Children’s Health Initiative Healthy Kids Solano, also known as the Children’s Health Initiative – Healthy Kids Solano, is a locally developed health insurance program created to provide coverage to children who do not qualify for the state sponsored programs, such as free cost Medi-Cal and Healthy Families Program. Healthy Kids provides comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and behavioral services, administered by the Partnership Health Plan of California (PHC). This is consistent with the Coalition’s goal that all kids have health care coverage.
